App: Memory Album

Memory Album is a personal photo and video organiser. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.

Data We Collect

Memory Album does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data remains on your device.

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

• SHA-256 content hashes of your photos and videos (used to identify media)
• File paths of your media files
• Remarks, tags, and contact associations that you add to your media

Permissions Used

• Read Media (Photos & Videos): Required to display your photos and videos in the gallery. The app reads media from your device storage but does not upload or share it.
• Read Contacts: Used only when you choose to tag a photo with a contact. Contact data is never uploaded or shared outside the app.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. The app works entirely offline and makes no network requests.

Data Storage

All metadata (remarks, tags, contacts) is stored in a private SQLite database on your device. This data is not accessible to other apps and is removed when you uninstall Memory Album.

Children's Privacy

Memory Album does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
